Yoshimune Kawamura 三條義宗 Mr Kawamura is well known for his raw character and rustic finish with his knives. The Yoshimune brand is a very underrated brand. "A one man only" blacksmith forging his knives alone in Niigata Japan which makes his knives range very limited and extremely long waiting period. This alone makes us want it even more.

Refusing to retire, Kawamura san is currently in his 70 and continues making knives using techniques that was passed down to him. We are very lucky to be able to feature his knives here.
