Myojin, a renowned student of master sharpener Morihiro, has developed a knife style defined by its perfectly consistent grind and the iconic Mount Fuji spine. His early training also included a period as a blacksmith, giving him a deeper understanding of the forging process before dedicating himself fully to sharpening.

Together with his father, Tateo Myojin, he founded Myojin Riki Seisakusho, introducing a professional line of knives crafted in SG2 steel. This steel is celebrated for its hardness, edge retention, and durability, making the knives a preferred choice for chefs and enthusiasts seeking performance with artistry.
