Handcrafted by Master blacksmith Takeshi Saji, Saji san from echizen. 越前, member of the Takefu knife village。Forged with a VG10 stainless steel, heat treated to HRC 62. This damascus was hammered with brass and copper creating this beautiful suminagashi pattern.
It is paired with a blue turquoise handle where Saji san is trying to incorporate new style into his traditional techniques and crafts.
